Hi my love,
It’s been a truly mammoth few weeks that I am still processing and not at all ready to write about. But I am slowly emerging from the mud and feeling somewhat human again. Today I went to the Channon markets, a hippie-inspired craft market here in the northern rivers that’s been running since the mid-seventies. I sipped on authentic chai in the sunshine and took home a few bargains. Rituals like these are such a blessing when life has been chaotic, and I find myself appreciating the simple and familiar when my mind has been immersed in mayhem.
As promised, I’m finally sharing a little thank-you meditation with my paid subscribers. Yoga Nidra meditation is one of the yogic practices I continue to come back to. It’s so simple, effective, and for me best practiced when I’m feeling wired but in need of a rest. It’s practiced lying down so there’s truly no effort required. This one only goes for fifteen minutes - so it should be pretty easy to make time for. I often receive comments from students on how relaxing my voice is - so I hope you enjoy.
